Gastroenterology
Gastroenterology, also known as gastrointestinal hepatobiliary department, diagnoses and treats medical indications including the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, liver, gallbladder, biliary tract, pancreas and spleen.
The Department of Gastroenterology in our hospital currently has two full-time attending physicians, both of whom specialize in diseases in their areas of expertise. Technicians in the department must possess certificate of endoscopy technician and the experience and certificate of emergency intensive care, and regularly attend advanced courses organized by the society of endoscopy to absorb new knowledge. We believe that with a strong medical team, we can provide safe and correct medical care for the public.
Service
- General outpatient business and clinical patient care
- Ultrasound examination, tracking and treatment of hepatitis B and C and other liver disease.
- The equipment includes various electronic gastrointestinal endoscopes and abdominal ultrasound. Gastroduodenal ulcer and esophageal varices bleeding hemostasis, colonoscopy and polypectomy, Percutaneous Transhepatic Gallbladder Drainage, liver biopsy, endoscopic cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), biliary lithotomy.
- In recent years, endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) has been introduced to provide another option for patients who require long-term nasal catheter placement.
